The Denver Chapter of Legatus is part of an international organization of practicing Catholic CEO’s, Presidents and Managing Partners and their spouses. We are a chapter of Legatus National founded by businessman and Domino’s pizza founder, Tom Monaghan. Our mission is to to study, live, and spread the Catholic Faith in our business, professional, and personal lives. Members of the business community find a place to be at home and develop their faith and spiritual life with like-minded Catholics. We welcome you to look into our organization and website, examine the membership criteria, and contact our membership chair.
Message from John Saeman, President Emeritus
Legatus of Colorado had its founding at a luncheon in the fall of 1999. Tom Monaghan came to Denver to meet with three at large Legatus members. Jim Leprino, Mike Sullivan and I were those members, and at the meeting we agreed to start a Chapter. We became a Chapter in March of 2000, and were under the protection of St. Francis of Assisi.
Legatus has been a great blessing for Carol and I, as well as many others. We consider our participation in Legatus, both in Colorado and nationally, to have been a wonderful journey in faith. The major benefits have included growth in our faith, and seeing the joy in fellow members as they participate in the journey.
I challenge you to get to know us and join us. It may be the most important decision you will make for your marriage, your family and your soul.
